Campaign of blood Drive for Thalassemia patients

The Faculty of Nursing and Department of Students Affairs at Hebron University organized a campaign of blood donation for Thalassemia patients in Yasser Arafat Building. The campaign was conducted in partnership with the Palestinian Voluntary Work Committee and the National Blood Bank.

Ms. Suhair Rommi from Department of Student Affairs and senior students from College of Nursing did excellent preparation and arrangement for the campaign which led to large turnout of Hebron University students to donate blood. The activity was extended to a longer period due to intensity of donation.

 

At the end of the day, the partner organizations met with the Dean of Nursing Dr. Hussein Jabareen who thanked them for their efforts and wished Thalassemia patients all the best and good health. At the same time, the partner organizations praised Hebron University and its students for organizing this campaign and for its continued cooperation and excellence in blood donation campaigns and wished to conducts similar activities in the future.
